Visit Incheon Port Cruise Terminal and the Incheon Fisheries Export Logistics Center

On March 2nd, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries visited Incheon to inspect the Incheon Port Cruise Terminal facilities, the customs office, and the immigration readiness for cruise ships. During his inspection tour, Minister Cho explained that “cruise ships will start to embark at Korean ports after a three-year hiatus from COVID19, starting with Seokcho Port from March 13th.” He further requested that “all related organizations be fully engaged in welcoming the tourists aboard cruise ships as 12 such vessels are scheduled to enter Korean ports with MS Europa 2 to arrive in Incheon on March 19th.”
 
Minister Cho further visited the Incheon Fisheries Export Logistics Center to hold a meeting with exporters and to inspect the logistics center site. During his speech, Minister Cho asked all participants to “expand seafood exports, including of Korean seafood products, as part of efforts to overcome the economic crisis despite the deteriorating global economy this year.” He further emphasized the need to be “fully committed and engaged with a focus on overseas marketing readiness in order to deliver this year’s export target of US$ 3.5 billion.”
