The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF, Minister Kang Do-hyung) announced on Tuesday, November 26 that gim (Korean edible seaweed) export has surpassed KRW 1 trillion for the second consecutive year and has broken the all-time export record (USD 850 million) as of October. The ministry held an event at Lotte Mart Zetaplex Seoul Station at 3 PM on the same day to celebrate the feat of record-high gim export.
