An Opportunity to Become a YouTube Video Creator and Engage with a Marine & Fisheries Community of 1.2 million

Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to recruit first official YouTube content collaborators to promote marine and fisheries policies

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Kang Do-Hyung) will be recruiting collaborative creators from March 18 to April 7 to work with the Ministry for one year to create content to promote its policies.

Applicants must be Korean nationals over the age of 19 who run a personal YouTube channel with more than 100,000 subscribers. Application guidelines can be found in the recruiting announcement on the official Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries YouTube channel (youtube.com/@koreamof/community).

Selected collaborators will create fun and easy-to-understand video content in their own unique style that makes Ministry policies accessible to the average viewer, and post them to their channels at least once a month until the end of November 2024. Creators who can handle various topics such as science, history, experiments, and everyday stories are preferred.

The selected creators will have the opportunity to experience and visit various Ministry events and policy sites and will receive up to KRW 21 million* in production expenses for one year.
