Promoting seafood products during the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics

 The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Kang Do-Hyung) will promote Korean seafood products for 14 days from January 19th (Friday) to February 1st (Thursday) at Gangneung Olympic Park Square in Gangwon Province, where the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games are being held.

 For athletes participating in the Olympic Games, the world’s festival of youth, and tourists visiting Korea in celebration of the event, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and Korea Fisheries Association will exhibit various products such as gim snacks and gim crackers, made from Korea’s strategic export product gim, as well as squid snacks and fish sausages, which are popular overseas, and hold free tasting events.

 In addition, the Ministry plans to distribute and screen English promotional materials and videos for K-Fish, an integrated brand for seafood exports certified by the Korean government.
