Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced its commitment to stabilize seafood prices through strategic reserve supply and discount events. On September 11, Minister Kang Do-hyung visited the Noryangjin Fish Market in Seoul to monitor seafood prices and consumption trends. He met with the chairman of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and merchant representatives. He toured the seafood stores to examine price trends and personally purchased seafood using Onnuri gift vouchers, checking the effectiveness of the refund events.
