Minister Kang held the 2024 Government Award Ceremony for Merit to Maritime and Fisheries Development at the Main Conference Room of the Sejong Government Complex. The ceremony was held to deliver awards directly to those who did not receive awards at Ocean Day and opening event of Pier 7 of Busan Port—Korea's first fully automated port—and those who received the Shipping Tower for publicizing the importance of the shipping industry through export support.
