Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kang Do-hyung inspected the construction of the Fishing Village New Deal 300 project site at Yongmuchi Port, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Having been selected as a target site for the 2021 Fishing Village New Deal 300 project, Yongmuchi Port is improving fishing activities and living spaces including maintaining a dock and creating a residents’ rest area and a waterfront plaza. Minister Kang was briefed on the progress of the Yongmuchi Port construction project, and he closely inspected the safety of workers in preparation for summer heat waves and the status of facility management in preparation for storm and flood damage.
