Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kang Do-hyung attended the Meeting to Revitalize Private Ship Finance and Network Building held at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul to revitalize private finance in the shipping industry. The meeting was attended by representatives from the five major commercial banks—KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Hana, Woori, and NH Nonghyup Bank—as well as Suhyup Bank, Busan Bank, and ship finance operators including the Korea Shipowners’ Association. The attendees discussed the private financing promotion policies implemented by the MOF and Korea Ocean Business Corporation and listened to the opinions of the financial community to create new growth engines for the shipping industry.
