Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kang Do-hyung visited Busan Port, reviewed issues such as the relocation of Busan Port functions and redevelopment of North Port, and inspected preparations for typhoons in the summer season. Minister Kang instructed the North Port’s Jaseongdae Pier operating company (Hutchison) to coordinate the relocation of the Shin Gamman and Gamman piers with the North Port redevelopment schedule to avoid disruptions in Busan Port logistics and to pay particular attention to safety issues during the large-scale equipment transfer process.
