Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries attended the celebration event for the 50th Anniversary of Ocean Science and Technology, which took place in Busan on October 27th (Friday). As an occasion to look back on the achievements of the last 50 years and to set a new course for the coming 50 years, the event was prepared by the Korea Institute of Oceans Science and Technology (KIOST), the only comprehensive marine research institution in Korea, and its affiliated research center in the field of ships and ocean engineering, the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO)
