On March 7th, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries attended the launching ceremony of the island area marine waste purification vessel Neulpureun Chungnamho held at the government ship pier of Daecheon Port in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do. This ceremony marks the launch of the first purification vessel out of the project to construct a total of 7 vessels since 2020. A total of 500 members from regional and marine & fisheries related institutions and organization took part in the event, including the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do, the Chairman of the Provincial Council, and members of the National Assembly.
