On March 3rd, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries held a joint launch ceremony for the mandatory Fisheries Aid Fund for groups that engage in the production of major aquaculture products such as laver, abalone, and flatfish.
 
The Fisheries Aid Fund refers to the funds created and managed by the financial contributions of fisheries producers in line with the Act on the Creation and Operation of Agricultural and Fisheries Aids, where groups representing seafood products promote consumption, quality improvement, and autonomous control of supply and demand.
