Construction of a Public-Private Joint Multi-purpose Logistics Center in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone, a Key Logistics Hub in Southern Vietnam
A logistics center in Southern Vietnam’s largest logistics hub, operations to begin in the second half of 2026
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF; Minister Kang Do-hyung) disclosed that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-purpose logistics center in Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam on March 19, 2025 (local time).
The logistics center under construction will include two buildings—one for room-temperature storage and the other for cold storage—with lot area of 55,553 m2 and total floor area of 26,168 m2. This project is part of Korea Ocean Business Corporation (KOBC)’s Global Logistics Supply Chain Fund in support of Lotte Global Logistics’ establishment of a joint logistics center in Vietnam.
Nhon Trach Industrial Park in Dong Nai Province, where the logistics center will be located, is a key logistics hub in Southern Vietnam. It is adjacent to major markets such as Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang and connected to critical transportation networks including Cat Lai Port, Cai Mep Port, and Long Thanh International Airport. Notably, Nhon Trach Industrial Park is home to a concentration of large and small Korean shippers. Once completed, the logistics center is expected to serve as a strategic foothold for Korean import and export companies entering the Vietnamese market.
“Vietnam boasts of a high economic growth rate and an excellent trade environment, and it is a market where Korean companies are actively expanding. The establishment of this joint logistics center will provide strong support for Korean companies operating in Vietnam. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will continue working diligently to identify and secure competitive logistics infrastructure for Korean businesses,” Minister Kang Do-hyung said.
