The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF), led by Minister Hwang Jong-woo, held the 2026 Maritime and Fisheries Job Fair at BEXCO in Busan on Tuesday, September 8. Jointly hosted by MOF and the Republic of Korea Navy, with participation from the national council of oceanography professors and Korea Maritime Meister High School, the fair was organized to provide young jobseekers with information on diverse career opportunities in the oceans and fisheries sector and attract talented young people. Held annually since 2015, the fair promotes quality jobs in the sector and supports tailored matching between employers and jobseekers.
