Minister of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Hwang Jong-woo attended the 22nd Shipboard Forum held aboard the Marado at the Busan Naval Operations Base on Thursday, June 11. Held every two years since 1992, the Shipboard Forum is jointly hosted by eight agencies including the Navy to discuss maritime security, strengthening of naval power, and development plans for Korea's maritime industry with experts from various fields. This year, approximately 300 experts gathered to hold in-depth presentations and discussions on "Global Maritime Security and K-Maritime Powerhouse Strategy in the Era of the Great AI Transformation."
