Minister of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Hwang Jong-woo held a meeting with the heads of fisheries cooperatives after attending the Fishermen's Day event on Wednesday, April 1. During the meeting, trends in the fisheries industry following the war in the Middle East and response measures to minimize damage to fishermen were discussed. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has been continuously holding meetings with the export industry (March 11), aquaculture industry (March 19), deep-sea fishing industry (March 23), and coastal fisheries organizations (March 30) to discuss response measures to the war in the Middle East.
