Active promotion of K-Seafood products through hosting the World Congress of Master Chefs of France (MCF) (March 16, 2026)

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries is launching a campaign to promote K-Seafood products on the occasion of the World Congress of the Association of Master Chefs of France (MCF, Association des Maîtres Cuisiniers de France)* to be held at the Seoul Pullman Hotel from Sunday, March 15 to Monday, March 16 to commemorate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France. As an annual event held in France, MCF World Congress attracts about 500 participants including chefs affiliated with the Association and member companies. It is held in a country other than France every five years, and this is the first time it will be held in Korea. MOF plans to make all-out efforts to develop new sales channels for K-Seafood products by leveraging the MCF World Congress to promote them in strategic markets such as Europe. These include operating a promotional booth for European master chefs and buyers, and organizing and serving banquets featuring K-Seafood products as main ingredients.
