Acting Minister for the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Sungbum signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Employment and Labor on Friday, February 20 to foster the marine and fisheries industry and create local jobs. This MOU was established as a follow-up measure to the MOU for Enhancing the Competitiveness and Safety Management Capabilities of Port-Related Industries in Busan Port, which was signed by the Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries and the Busan Regional Office of Employment and Labor last January. The signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Launch Ceremony for 7 Regional and Industry-Specialized Employment Centers held in Busan.
