Acting Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Seong-beom held a meeting with Busan business leaders at MOF on Monday, February 9, combining New Year’s greetings with discussions on strengthening cooperation between MOF and the Busan business community. Last November, MOF held a luncheon meeting with Busan business leaders to share policy directions, including progress on MOF’s relocation to Busan and plans to foster the southeastern maritime capital region in preparation for the era of Arctic shipping routes. The meeting was held to express appreciation to local business leaders for welcoming MOF’s relocation and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with the regional business community as MOF marks its inaugural year in Busan.
