On Thursday, February 5, Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Seong-beom held the launch ceremony and kickoff meeting of the High-Level Policy Council for the Promotion of the Maritime Capital Region at the MOF conference hall in Busan. The Council is the highest-level policy coordination platform in which central and local governments and the private sector jointly participate to identify coorperative tasks and discuss policy directions to foster the maritime capital region as a hub of the national maritime strategy.
