Acting Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Seong-beom attended a meeting of the Arctic Sea Route Advisory Committee held in Seoul on the morning of Wednesday, January 28. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) has operated the Arctic Sea Route Advisory Committee since September last year in response to the growing need for expert advice and to identify public-private coorperation tasks for Arctic shipping route development and the maritime capital region initiative.
