The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF; Minister Chun Jae-soo) will hold the “Blue Dream! Blue Challenge!” for four days from Saturday, August 30 to Tuesday, September 2 in the area around Geobukseom Island in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province. Holding the 17th National Marine Sports Festival under the theme of “A Powerful Future”—Held since 2006 to foster professional marine sports athletes and expand the base of marine sports, the National Marine Sports Festival is Korea's largest marine sports competition with approximately 3.1 million athletes and spectators participating through its 16th season.
