“This Stop is K-Food Station, Your Destination is the K-FISH Direction.”
 
- Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to operate food trucks during the APEC to promote its integrated export brand K-Fish
 
  The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF; Minister Chun Jae-soo) announced that it would be operating the K-FISH* Food Truck at the APEC International Media Center during the APEC for four days from Wednesday, October 29 to Saturday, November 1 to raise awareness of Korean seafood products overseas.
 
    * K-Fish is a national joint export integrated brand managed by MOF to raise global awareness of Korean seafood and expand exports. It includes 16 items such as dried laver, tuna, abalone, oysters, and fish cakes.
 
  The Ministry plans to operate the K-FISH Food Truck at the K-Food Station, the K-Food experiential and rest space established across the International Media Center.
 
  The K·FISH Food Truck* will carry out promotional activities by introducing and offering samplings of excellent Korean seafood products such as dried laver snacks and kelp chips that are K-FISH certified and which can attract overseas consumers' attention, and broadcast a K-Fish promotional video.
 
  “We hope that this event will widely publicize the excellence of Korean seafood products to foreign delegates visiting Korea for APEC and serve as a cornerstone for expanding exports in the future. We will continue to promote our excellent seafood products actively so that they can be known to consumers around the world,” said Choi Hyun-ho, Director General of MOF’s Fisheries Policy Office.
